When Bear Bear — a beloved @gund_official childhood companion — checked into the Doll & Stuffed Animal Hospital in Secaucus, NJ, he looked exactly how you’d expect an adorable toy to appear after years of being snuggled and toted around everywhere: worn out, depleted, and pretty much falling apart. 🧸💙
However, despite his critical condition, there was no need for concern. In the care of Dr. Ana Casas and Erick Paredes, Bear Bear proved to be in the best of hands. Once admitted to this local toy repair shop — where each patient receives the most thoughtful treatment — his situation was carefully assessed and Dr. Ana and her team began to nurse him back to health. First, they washed him ever so delicately. Then they let him dry and brushed out his fur. Finally, they applied stuffing into his tiny belly, stitched up any seams that had come apart, and plumped sweet Bear Bear right on up.
