Becoming a Poll Worker
The County of Modoc Elections Office encourages all citizens to become involved in the election process. One of the most rewarding ways to do this is to become an Election Day poll worker.
When making this commitment, please keep in mind the serious nature of your promise. Your time and service ensure that members of your local community can exercise their constitutional right to vote.

You can also call our office, and we would be happy to mail you an application, or you can come into the office to pick one up in person.
Poll Worker Requirements
- A US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.
- A registered voter of California
- At least 18 years of age (or 16 if a high school student)
