How to explore events in Arena on Meta Quest

Updated:41 weeks ago
The new version of Events is available with HorizonOS v81.0 on Meta Quest

Arena is an immersive events space within Meta's Horizon ecosystem designed to bring you closer to live experiences like concerts, sports games, comedy shows, and more. Unlike traditional live events, Arena offers an interactive and unique experience where you can explore freely, watch immersive performances and engage and interact with other attendees in real-time, and enjoy immersive effects such as visual effects, emotes, and props that enhance the excitement and engagement.

Events are rated based on their suitability for different ages. Visiting worlds and events rated 18+ is an age restricted activity. Parents can also leverage Parental Supervision to keep their teens and children safe within Arena.

To find an event in Meta Horizon:

  1. From your Meta Quest, you can find events by approaching billboards around Horizon Central.
  2. You can also find events by pressing Menu and viewing them in your Horizon feed, Store, and Horizon TV.

To use an avatar emote:

  1. From your Meta Quest, press Menu, select Emotes, then assign an emote to your left and right controllers.
  2. To emote, take your thumb off the thumbstick on your controller. Then, press the trigger and grip button at the same time. Everyone will see your emotes when you use them.

To select and change your seat:

  1. From the event, point to and select the chair you want to sit in.
  2. At any time, you can move to a different open seat by pointing to the chair icon and selecting it.
  3. To leave your seat, open the seating menu and select Leave seat.
