Explore Horizon Central on Meta Quest
Horizon Central is a social and discovery space within Worlds designed to help you navigate and explore the metaverse in an engaging, shared place. Horizon Central includes experiences such as a digital avatar store and an Arena. It also offers interactive elements and regularly updated content across multiple islands, from building a tower with your friends to hanging out in a chill zone. Overall, Horizon Central serves as a central hub for people to find new worlds, connect with others, and participate in a variety of activities within Horizon Worlds.
As Horizon Central is an interactive space, we have specific rules and policies in place to help keep everyone safe. Our Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences applies to Horizon Central and outlines what creators, admins and world visitors are responsible for. In addition, child and teen account settings in Horizon Central are automatically set to private.
How to use chill zones in Horizon Central
- From Horizon Central, approach a chill zone and select a seat.
- Select one of the bubbles to reveal a conversation starter.
- Only people within the chill zone can hear each other.
How to use billboards in Horizon Central
- From Horizon Central, walk over to an event billboard and hover over the information provided.
- Select Interested to receive a reminder to attend the event.
How to purchase an item in Central Shop
- From Horizon Central, walk over to Shop Central and approach one of the shops.
- Stand in front of a mirror to try on the clothes displayed.
- To explore more items from the creator, approach the shop’s main display and select Go.
- You can use Meta Credits to purchase clothing from the shop.
- When you’re ready to leave, press
Menu, and select Horizon Central to return.
