You need to meet the eligibility requirements in order to qualify for Meta Verified.

Subscriber eligibility

To purchase a Meta Verified subscription, you need to meet the following requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country of residence.
  • Be located in a country where Meta Verified is available.
  • Have an eligible Instagram or Facebook account.
  • Have a government-issued photo ID.
  • Not exceed the number of times you can make changes to your account within a certain time period prior to applying for verification (examples: changes to profile name, profile picture, username, location, or account type).
  • Agree to the Meta Verified Terms of Service and follow the Instagram Terms of Use, Facebook Terms of Service, and Community Standards.

Account eligibility

The following accounts are eligible for Meta Verified:

You can verify up to two eligible profiles that are added to the same Accounts Center (one Instagram and one Facebook). When you verify two profiles, both may need to have similar names and pictures.
