Create or edit your avatar on Facebook

You can create and customize your avatar through the Facebook app for Android and iPhone. If you sync your Facebook and Instagram profiles, you can use the same avatar in both places.
  1. Click your profile photo in the top right, then click your profile.
  2. Click Edit profile.
  3. Scroll down to Avatars and click Create or Edit.
You can change your avatar at any time by returning to the avatar editor.
You can delete your avatar in the avatar editor by tapping Options, then tapping Delete avatar. This action is permanent and cannot be reversed. You can create a new avatar at any time by going back to the avatar editor.
