What you see in Feed is influenced by your connections and activity on Facebook. You choose who to be friends with, which Pages to follow and what groups to join, and we help organize all the possible posts you could see.
We want to show you the news stories that are most meaningful to you, but sometimes we might get it wrong. We're making changes to prioritize local and trusted news sources so you see more high-quality news in Feed. Here are some ways you can manage what news you see on Facebook.
To see more news from sources that matter to you:
- Follow Pages to see more posts from those Pages in Feed. Keep in mind that verified Pages and profiles
mean that Facebook confirmed that it is the authentic Page or profile for a public figure, media company or brand.
- Add people and Pages to Favorites to prioritize their posts in Feed.
- Adjust notifications for Pages to be notified when there are new posts, events and live videos.
- Save something you see on Feed so you can read or watch it later.
- Select Interested on a post to see more posts like it in Feed.
To see less news from certain sources:
- Hide posts you see in Feed to see fewer posts from a specific person, Page or group.
- Unfollow Pages and people to stop seeing their posts in Feed.
- Snooze Pages and people to stop seeing their posts in Feed for 30 days.
- Select Not interested on a post to see fewer posts like it in Feed.
