Understanding Shared Prepaid Funds for Government and Politics

Meta is announcing the launch of Shared Prepaid Funds (SPF), a new self-service, business-level payment option that allows Government, Politics, and Nonprofit partners to make prepayments for Meta ads using various instant payment methods, including debit and credit cards. Once your Shared Prepaid Funds account is funded, you can attach multiple business-owned ad accounts to the single funding source.

Shared Prepaid Funds is being launched as an additional payment option for advertisers and will not replace any existing options that you may be using. Advertisers will continue to have the option to use post-pay services as well as traditional credit lines (if eligible).

As of March 2025, Shared Prepaid Funds is available in the following countries:
