How we receive location information

When can other people see locations you've shared?

People can see locations you've shared depending on the privacy permissions of your profile and posts. When you share your location on our products, only the people you choose to share it with can see it.

What location information are you sharing with Meta when Location Services is enabled?

When you enable Location Services through your device settings, Meta may receive information about your precise location through things like: your GPS location, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connection.
