We&#8217;re also launching a Privacy and Data Use Hub to make our data and privacy resources easier for businesses to find.<\/p>\n<p><b>Privacy Checkup<\/b><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important for people to periodically review their privacy choices to be sure they&#8217;re still the right ones \u2014 so for Data Privacy Day we&#8217;re showing people a reminder in News Feed inviting them to take Privacy Checkup. We&#8217;ll roll this out around the world over the next two weeks to help people review:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who can see their Facebook posts<\/li>\n<li>The information on their profile and who can see it<\/li>\n<li>The apps and websites they log into with Facebook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a reminder, people can take the Privacy Checkup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/443357099140264\/\">at any time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/privacy-checkup-article-inline-image-2-screens-626x642-@3x-1.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14220\" src=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/privacy-checkup-article-inline-image-2-screens-626x642-@3x-1.png?resize=960%2C985\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"985\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>New Privacy and Data Use Business Hub <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Today we&#8217;re also launching a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/business\/m\/privacy-and-data\">Privacy and Data Use Business Hub<\/a>, which centralizes resources that businesses can use to understand how they can protect people&#8217;s information when using Facebook. This new hub contains information on topics like our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/business\/about\/ad-principles\">Ads<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/about\/basics\/privacy-principles\">Privacy Principles<\/a>, how data is used in our ad products, and guidance to help companies understand rules like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/business\/GDPR\">GDPR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While Data Privacy Day is a good time to think about protecting your information, we&#8217;re continuing to work throughout the year to improve the privacy controls we offer on Facebook and better communicate about how we protect people&#8217;s information. Last year we made our <a href=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/2018\/03\/privacy-shortcuts\/\">privacy settings easier to find<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/2018\/03\/privacy-shortcuts\/\">improved our tools<\/a> for accessing and deleting your information, and published our<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/about\/basics\/privacy-principles\"> Privacy Principles<\/a>. This year we&#8217;ll do more to explain how Facebook uses people&#8217;s data and provide people with more transparency and control. For example, in the coming months we will launch Clear History, a new control to let you see the information we get about your activity on other apps and websites, and disconnect that information from
