This is a symptom of using the wrong tool for the job. Rather have the LLM create a repo of R or Python scripts to perform analyses on the dataset. If you're expecting the LLM to consume vast millisecond-precision data and not attempt to aggregate or summarize it, you're overestimating how much context these models can reliably handle. Get the agent to orchestrate scripts based on your analysis needs. It's cheaper even to have it write an ad hoc script for each analysis task than direct I/O analysis. Just be clear with your objectives.

I'm sure zelensky was informed before Christmas. Buddy of mine and I went to visit Pripyat, Kyiv and Odessa in December and January since we are Soviet history buffs and figured that Chronobyl, as the literal symbol of Soviet failure and collapse would be leveled especially due to its proximity to Belarus. Thing is, the technique of implementing these watermarks is already pretty well-known, green/red lists of words and algorithmic choice of keyword to end up with a result that has a statistically significant chance of being AI generated.

But, so far Anthropic hasn't published a tool for verifying whether a snippet was written by Claude.

When they will do so, by necessity it will allow for reverse-engineering of the lists, and at scale even the algorithm used to utilize them.

So the watermark functionality and its integrity/usefulness is sorta dependent on them NOT offering a simple or public way to verify the watermarks

I think it was rather due to the improvements in codex and chinese opensource from the last months. Anthropic wants a $2t ipo in october so keeping users happy and plentiful til then is pretty important. Wouldn't be surprised if this promo gets extended or a new one announced this or next week already.

Why are they "a nightmare to mark and to moderate"? I understand that bad handwriting and the necessity of proctors does add some overhead, but is there some other reason? Seems like the only way to make sure you're actually assessing someone's knowledge or learned skills anymore.
