No, but it’s still for sale. PRS has confirmed that the serial number does not belong to a wood library guitar though.

My sleuthing has brought me to learn that this guitar was sold new in Japan. The guy didn’t pick the specs, he got it just like this from the store; could the retailer have chosen these specs to sell it like that?

Yes, that one piece top is very enticing. Still, PRS told me it's not a wood library guitar, so the price—$4000—seems a bit steep.

It's kind of funny and unfortunate; if it were a Wood Library guitar, the price would've been a steal.
If I had gone with the initial advice instead of waiting for what PRS said, I would've paid way too much for the guitar.
